Country Primitive Signs

We just got in the most delightful primitive signs...the gal that stopped into the store calls herself the 'redneck salesman'...she arrives in her pick-up truck with the back full of signs and we just go crazy digging through them. Such fun!  Here are a few of them...have a peak and see what you think!

 

Please Excuse the Photographer...these signs are not warped...oh and neither is the photographer lol...I just don't do pictures well!  My brother-in-law insisted we get  "You Just Can't Fix Stupid" and we had to...he had tears running down his face, he was laughing so hard!

Sisters Country Rustics Now Open

We are thrilled to announce that our store Sisters Country Rustics is now open.  After long months of renovations to our country barn, we are now seeing our dream come true!  Frena and I would spend countless hours shopping (just ask our husbands!) and drooling over all the delightful country home decor stores throughout Alberta.  And more often than not, we would drag home heavily laden bags full of country primitive goodies that we could just not resist.  One day during a visit to one of our local stores we were inspired by the shop owner to 'just do it' and decided that yes, we would open our own country store. Frena and I would like to offer a great big thank you to all our friends and family who have helped us with renovations and especially to our wonderfully supportive husbands Peter and Wayne, who say they haven't had a square meal since this project began! We could not have done it without you! 

 If you are in the Ponoka area we would love for you to drop in and visit.  You can find us at 250072 Menaik Road approx. 10 north of Ponoka and a 1/2 km west of Hwy 2A (8-9 km east of Hwy 2)

Our hours are Wed Thur Fri 11pm to 5pm Sat 10am to 5pm and Sun 11am to 4pm.  If you are unable to stop in during those hours, call ahead and we will be happy to open the store for you.  We look forward to seeing you!
